Why Web Musing?

Why Web Musing?
Created back in 2014.

For years, it has been in my heart to serve the Lord in some ministry or calling, but I don't know how. I tried and started many things, but nothing lasted except my personal time with the Lord.

This blog has undergone several iterations, and I have closed it for many years.

All these changed with the birth of my son, Benaiah.

"Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one! You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart.
You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up." Deuteronomy 6:4-7 (NKJV)

As I ponder my life from childhood to today, I realize that everything I have received came from the Lord Jesus Christ.

If I were to leave this earth today, the most important thing that my son must know and appreciate is that my Lord is more real than a mobile phone. And He is still the Lord Who answers prayers.

There's nothing else worth leaving to my son. It is easy to squander inheritance and money, and these things cannot protect him. However, the Lord can protect my son with favor as a shield. (Psalm 5:12)

I can only show my son how the Lord is good by experiencing Him daily and sharing my experiences with him.

Thus, I wanted to share my daily life and Christ with my newsletter and other platforms. My son is too young to even read at the time of this writing, but one day, I intend to share this journal with him so that he may appreciate the Lord.

The LORD is a father of the fatherless and a defender of widows (Psalm 68:5). Hopefully, through my sharing, others can be blessed as I write for my son.

This blog isn't intended to be dry and dull.

My life has not been boring in the slightest. It has been too exciting, and I sometimes feel out of my comfort zone.

I traveled half the globe to Florida to work and stayed in a beautiful neighborhood near a golf course.

During one of my evening walks.

After five and a half years, I relocated to Los Angeles (LA) because of work.

My son and me looking at the horizon during sunset in LA.

I lament that I haven't been able to write down practical notes on my experience in the States. I have family and friends who might want to visit us, and I struggled to remember noteworthy places that I should recommend.

I placed many pins on my Google map, but if you ask me to revisit what I did in some of these places, I will only have a faint impression.

Thus, one of my goals for this blog is to journal important places and memories so that I can remember where to bring visitors for bonding. That way, folks can tell me what they would like to experience when they visit LA.
